Stephanie Stewart
-
Steph was Shelby’s aunt and godmother, and had a special relationship with her throughout her life. For those who knew Shelby, it is not surprising that while she was in the midst of her battle with GBM, she wanted to start an organization to help others with this terrible disease. Building on what Shelby created, Steph is honored to be a part of the Foundation, and to follow through with Shelby’s vision.
A graduate from Bryant University with a degree in Business Administration, in Computer Information Systems, Steph later worked for almost 25 years in IT (Information Technology) in the corporate world. Later on when life took her down another path, she changed careers and followed her heart and love for fitness and health, and became a Personal Trainer. She is also certified as a Health Coach with the Trinity School of Natural Health. Utilizing her communication, organizational skills, and enjoyment of and working with others, her goal is to help increase awareness of Glioblastoma, to raise money to help support those affected by it, and to fund research in the medical, integrative and alternative healing fields.
Lastly and most importantly, Steph believes in the personal power of healing. Anything is possible ! You are much more than your diagnosis.
